Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Hopper for Gaming uses cookies on hopperforgaming.com and related sub-domains. The data controller is Hopper for Gaming (registration number 300316635), Hapalmah 11, Givatayim, Central District, Israel — henlachmani@hopperforgaming.com.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies can be "session" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" (kept for a set period). A cookie is "first-party" when set by the site you are visiting and "third-party" when set by another domain.

3. The cookies we use

We use only strictly necessary (essential) cookies. These are required to log you in and keep the service secure; they cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality. They are set by our authentication provider, Clerk, on our own (first-party) domain.

CookieProviderCategoryDurationPurpose
__sessionClerk (first-party)EssentialSessionKeeps you signed in by carrying your authenticated session token.
__client_uatClerk (first-party)Essential~1 yearRecords the last time your sign-in state changed, so the app knows whether you are signed in.

When you purchase credits, our payment provider Paddle may set additional strictly necessary cookies during checkout to process the transaction securely.

4. Analytics without cookies

We measure aggregate traffic using Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless — it sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifier on your device. It cannot track you across other websites or across days.

5. Cookies we do NOT use

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising or targeting cookies, social-media cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, applicable law does not require a cookie consent banner, and we do not display one. This policy is provided for transparency.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge all offer cookie controls). Please note that blocking our essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the service.

7. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser; the persistent essential cookie above lasts up to about 13 months or until you delete it.

8. Changes

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example analytics or marketing cookies), we will update this policy and add a consent banner that lets you accept or reject them before they are set.
